⭐ What this site does, and does not, do
Apart from Google Analytics' own _ga cookies, this site sets no cookies. It uses no localStorage and no sessionStorage.
It uses Google Analytics to count visits — described below.
It carries no advertising and no advertising network code.
It contains no tracking pixels, no social embeds and no session recording.
There is no account system, no newsletter and no login, so there is nothing to sign up to and nothing stored about you between visits.
Third parties
Pages load their typeface from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). That request goes to Google's servers, which means Google receives your IP address and basic request information in order to serve the font file. Google Fonts does not set cookies.
Pages also load Google Analytics (googletagmanager.com, google-analytics.com). A content blocker, or Google's own opt-out browser add-on, stops it, and every page still works exactly the same.
Apart from Google Analytics, described below, that is the only request this site makes to anyone other than its own server. Every image is served from accessflorence.com.
⚠️ Outbound links — to an operator's ticketing site, to Wikimedia Commons, or to an affiliate partner — take you to a third party with its own policies, which this one does not cover.
Server logs
Like any website, the hosting server keeps standard access logs: IP address, the page requested, the time, the referring page and the browser's user-agent string. These are generated by the web server, are used for security and diagnosing faults, and are not combined with anything else or used to build a profile.
The site sits behind Cloudflare, which handles the connection and applies its own security measures; Cloudflare processes request data as part of that.
If you use the contact form
The contact form sends what you type — your message, and the name and email address if you choose to give them — to the site's own mailbox on its own server.
⭐ Both the name and the email address are optional. If you only want to report a correction, you do not need to identify yourself at all. If you leave the email blank there is simply no way to reply.
Messages are kept only as long as they are useful and are not added to any mailing list, because there is no mailing list.
Affiliate links
Some links are affiliate links. Following one may set a cookie on the partner's site so that a booking can be attributed. That happens on their domain, under their policy, and only if you click.

Changes
Google Analytics was added on 11 September 2026, and this page changed in the same release. If this site later adds advertising, this page will be updated to say so before or at the same time, not afterwards.
