It is much smaller than Boboli and much less busy. A baroque staircase climbs the slope, and the terrace at the top gives you the dome and the campanile straight on across the rooftops, with a parapet to lean on.
The wisteria tunnel is spectacular for a few weeks in April and ordinary the rest of the year, which is worth knowing before planning around it.
There is a café on the upper terrace with the same view.
